After having previously worked with these clients in executing a major renovation incorporating other areas of the home, they were now ready to tackle the remaining heart and soul of the house – the kitchen.

The existing space had very industrial, bold (fluorescent orange), dated elements that the clients were keen to have removed entirely and replaced with a more refined, unique yet somewhat fun palette, carefully incorporating maximum functionality right down to clever nooks, hooks and drawer separators. It was of upmost importance that their love of wine, art and food were reflected within the design, hence the creation of the suspended shelving with wine glass hangers, ready for an impromptu gathering and at the same time highlighting the majestic four metre high raked ceiling.

Although a more simplified renovation than the previous, the cold, industrial open plan layout of the living area needed to be tied in with the warm, fun and uniquely renovated wet areas as well as executed seamlessly with welcoming design and tailored functionality; making it the very heart of their light and leafy filled home.
